Codes of Conduct and Simple Compliance Systems in Vietnam

Under the UNDP's and British Prosperity Fund's regional project, Promoting a Fair Business Environment in ASEAN, we're pleased to be working closely with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on the development of codes of conduct and internal control systems for Vietnamese business, as well as on training programmes to support companies when the law comes into force in 2019.
The amended anti-corruption law will curb conflicts of interests and encourages businesses to develop a ‘code of conduct’ and strengthen ‘internal controls’ to prevent corruption.
As reported in Vietnam News, such public sector reform is significant progress in Vietnam in extending anti-corruption to the private sector.
