Towards Collective Action in Vietnam - Helping SMEs in Vietnam resist corruption

March 30,  2017

We completed our project “Helping SMEs in Vietnam resist corruption”, co-funded by the UK Prosperity Fund and the Vietnamese Government. Our partners, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and a team of local trainers, created an online Toolkit based on the SME toolkit IBLF Global produced in 2015 at the request of the G20. Also, there was training for over 1100 SMEs in 8 different cities over 3 months.

At a stakeholders round-table held by VCCI in Hanoi, and attended by over 40 business and government leaders, we presented a policy paper with recommendations on creating a business-government integrity alliance which was subsequently submitted to the Government. The policy paper will be published once it has been approved by the Vietnamese Government.
