Phạm Thị Thùy Chi

Principal Consultant, Toward Development Integration Co. Ltd.

“I had a great experience working with IBLF Global as a local consultant on a research project on business integrity in the healthcare sector in Vietnam. Having been pursuing my research interests in corruption and integration in Vietnam for long, I always look forward to doing research on integrity in industries that affect people's welfare such as education and healthcare. Being engaged in this research project is an exceptional opportunity for me. The study was designed with a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods allowing to collect opinions of about 1000 managers and staff working in a private hospital and more than twenty interviews with hospital CEOs, line managers, nurses and doctors. While participating in the study design and directly performing the data collection task, I received excellent guidance from the research team lead, Brook Horowitz, CEO. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from European countries and China - where two different governance cultures and political systems have proven to have a significant influence on private sector integrity. I have learned a lot from very experienced colleagues. I hope the knowledge and experiences learned from this research project can be applied in my future studies."

Aibek Yergaliev

Investment Professional, Permira Credit

“After finishing my A-levels, I joined IBLF as an intern and worked with the IBLF Global team in London. My main focus was research, collating latest anti-corruption and business standards developments in key jurisdictions: Russia, China, India and Vietnam. Alongside research, I was also responsible for content generation and editing of e-newsletters to our key stakeholders, liaison with our partners across the globe and assisting in round table organisation. Stepping into this environment straight from school was challenging, but with the help of my mentor, I obtained skills that not only helped me to thrive in the role but also to grow and foster professional skills that I use to this day. I am sure future interns will benefit from all that is offered by IBLF.”

Phan Khanh Ha

PhD Candidate at Chulalongkorn University

"As an IBLF Global intern, I was able to work with leading experts in business integrity and gained much new knowledge and experience. As a result, I am now committed to working for a sustainable and constructive relationship between the public and private sectors. The highlight of the internship was conducting hands-on international research for a project which directly benefited SMEs in my home country. IBLF Global also helped me expand my professional network both in London and Hanoi. For example, I represented the organization in multiple conferences and events. A truly incredible experience!"

Anisa Indah Pratiwi

Technical Associate, SDG Finance

“During my final term as a Master’s student in UCL, I worked as an intern in IBLF Global. Throughout the 6 months’ period of internship, I got the most meaningful mentorship, ranging from assisting in reviewing legislation and writing articles, to getting exposed to a wide range of issues from anti-corruption to ESG Investing. The period was very humbling, as I was given many opportunities to learn from the experts through various consultation processes. I am very grateful that the experience I got from IBLF Global has helped me to land a job in my current position.”

Sofia Tirini

Policy Manager, Regulatory Compliance and Market Access, Access Partnership

"During my internship at IBLF, I worked on several and very different projects which allowed me to understand how multi-stakeholder initiatives work, how not-for-profit organizations fund their projects, how they manage the different interests between private and public sector; and, most importantly, I enhanced my expertise on collective action, which was my main objective at the time. Thanks to my internship at IBLF, I developed my networking skills by connecting with people from different sectors, (public, private and civil society) very relevant and prestigious in the anti-corruption field. I received a lot of guidance and feedback from my mentor throughout the process, and apart from drafting, researching and presenting anti-corruption data, I also had the opportunity to attend the OECD Anti-Corruption and Integrity Forum in Paris. The internship with IBLF was overall a great experience, which required a lot of hard work and critical analysis, but it was completely worth it. I would say one of the most important lessons I learnt working for IBLF, was to think out of the box, which is something fundamental in the fight against corruption"

Qinyi Liu

My time at the organisation provided me with the opportunity to enhance my skills in research, analysis, and critical thinking, specifically in this domain. At IBLF Global, I had the opportunity to be involved in a diverse array of projects, ranging from research management to fundraising and outreach initiatives. This multifaceted experience equipped me with a diverse skill set that proved to be extremely valuable in my subsequent career. I am grateful for the opportunity to have begun my career at IBLF Global, and I continue to appreciate the exceptional experience I had during my time here."

"It has been nearly a decade since I first started cooperating with IBLF Global on business ethics and integrity: it has been a very enjoyable journey. We have worked together on a number of projects, most recently on UNDP's FairBiz Project supporting women leaders in promoting business integrity in ASEAN. Whether in research or practice, IBLF Global's pragmatic, forward-looking, and innovative approach has always been very inspiring. They have brought many positive changes to the field; just as importantly, IBLF Global colleagues are fun to work with!"

By having access to valuable resources to learn about anti-corruption from renowned experts to young people from around the world, I got to understand the importance of collective action for good governance in sustainable development. Aside from that, I was also exposed to work with high-level international stakeholders. These experiences helped me to land many opportunities in the international job market. Truly thankful for this experience!”
